
Nancy D. Robblee, M.D.I was born in Seattle, Washington and lived there until the age of three when my family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York, I worked for four years as a mental health counselor specializing in adolescent counseling. Deciding I wanted more involvement in health care, I then attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. My pediatrics residency and internship was completed at Children's Hospital and Medical Center. Upon completion, I opened Skagit Pediatrics in 1982 with my partner, Dr. Frances T. Chalmers. I am married and have two daughters. My interests include playing classical piano music, bicycling, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family. | Frances T. Chalmers, M.D.
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts. I graduated from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California and then went to medical school at Cast Western in Cleveland, Ohio. My internship and residency was at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. In 1981 I opened Skagit Pediatrics with my partner, Dr. Nancy D. Robblee. I am married and have two sons and one daughter. Some of my interests are: outdoor activities, raising sheep, doing crafts, and spending time with my family. | Mark R. Barr, M.D.
I grew up in the Seattle area and Eastern Washington. I graduated from Eastmont High School in East Wenatchee. I received a B.S. in Cell Biology from the University of Washington, where I also attended medical school. I then went through pediatric residency training at Children's Hospital and Medical Center until 1985. After filling in for one or Dr. Robblee's maternity leaves in the fall of 1985, I joined Skagit Pediatrics. I am married and have two girls. I enjoy fly fishing, cross country skiing, and spending time with my family. | Richard S. Levine, M.D.
I was born in Denver, Colorado. I am the fourth of five children. When I was two years old, my family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where I spent my childhood and high school years. I spent my college years at Stanford University and attended medical school at UCLA. I did my internship and residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, where I completed a year as the Chief Resident in Pediatrics. I am married and have a son and daughter. My interests include spending time with my family, sailing, hiking, peanut butter, and chocolate. | C. Esen Zentner, M.D. I was born in Istanbul, Turkey and moved to Oregon at the age of eleven. I headed to the east coast for medical school, attending Albany Medical College in upstate New York. Crossing back over to the west coast I completed my internship and residency at Seatlle Children's Hospital. I started working at Skagit Pediatrics in 2007 after finishing my residency. I am married and have a son who was born 1/2009. I look forward to many more years in the Skagit Valley and continue to enjoy my patients and their families. | Andrea B. Lowe, M.D., Ph.D.
Andrea Lowe, MD, PhD, FAAP attended undergraduate school at the University of California, David. After college, she joined the Peace Corps and worked in inland aquaculture in Liberia, West Africa for two years and became interested in medicine. She worked in Liberia as a lab technician doing medical research and then transferred to the New York office where she worked another two years whil applying to medical school. She received her medical degree and PhD at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, then did her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle. She joined Skagit Pediatrics in July 2001 and is board certified in pediatrics. | Jennifer S. Taylor, M.D.
I grew up in Seattle, attending Roosevelt High School. I went away to Carleton College in Minnesota. I was grateful to come home to the Northwest to attend the University of Washington Medical School. My pediatrics internship and residency were at Children’s Hospital and Medical School in Seattle. I have been with Skagit Pediatrics since 1998. I am married and have three children (two sons and a daughter). When I’m not working, I can usually be found with my family! We like all kinds of play including hiking and biking, water play in the summer, and snow sports in the winter. | Holly Lea, ARNP
I grew up on a horse ranch in Sultan, WA. After high school, I felt like I needed to experience the other side of the US, so I headed off to Vassar College in New York for my first bachelors degree in Biopsychology. It was clear I belonged back in Washington. I came back and worked in the Vascular Biology department at UW doing research for 7 years before I decided to become a nurse. I received a bachelors degree in Nursing from UW in 1999. Shortly thereafter my daughter was born, and my husband and I decided to move up to Mount Vernon to get out of the city. I quickly found Skagit Pediatrics and knew right away I was where I was supposed to be. While working as an RN at Skagit Peds, I went back to the UW and earned my Masters in Nursing to become a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2008. I love working with children and their families, and look forward to a long and fulfilling career at Skagit Pediatrics. | Todd Ouellette, ARNPI was born in Moses Lake, but grew up in a number of places. My first health sciences degree, in nursing was in 1975, and I worked at Children's in Seattle from 1976 - 1990 when I finished a Masters degree at the UW. I worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Ashland and Medford Oregon from 1990 - 1997, but was too far from home, and was pleased when the opportunity to join Skagit Pediatrics presented in 1997. Being single, you will often find me in late and weekend clinic. When not at work, I enjoy birding, hiking, cooking, and being home. | Anne Winkes, ARNP
A graduate of Stanford University with a Bachelors of Arts in English, she received her RN degree from Skagit Valley Collegeand her nurse practitioner training at the University of Washington. She worked as a nurse practitioner for nine years with John Moon, M.D. a pediatrician and allergist/immunologist in Mount Vernon. She has been at Skagit Pediatrics since 1987. |
