As of 06/21/2022, all Washington residents 6 months and older are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine.
As of 05/20/2022 Everyone 5 years and older is eligible for a COVID-19 booster at least 5 months after completing the primary series.
We are excited to be able to offer the COVID-19 vaccine at Skagit Pediatrics!
We are happy to offer COVID vaccine at scheduled COVID vaccine appointments but we are also likely able to offer the vaccine when your child is here for their scheduled check-up!

At Skagit Pediatrics, we strongly believe that the COVID-19 vaccination is one of the most important tools to end the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage our patients and family members to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
We also strongly recommend all people age three and over wear masks in crowded indoor settings and confined spaces.

We will be providing the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for our patients 5-21 years of age (as it has emergency use approval for this age group).

We will be providing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for our patients 6mo-5 years of age as it will be most available in Skagit County.

What to expect at your vaccine appointment:
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
Plan to be here for about 60 minutes.
You will check in, fill out a pre-vaccination screening and acknowledgement form and have time to ask questions before you receive the vaccine.

Following your vaccine, you will be observed for 15-30 minutes in a waiting area.
Before you leave, make sure you know when your second dose is scheduled. This is a required vaccine booster, 3 weeks following your first dose.
One Parent/Guardian is required to be present for both the initial vaccine appointment and the vaccine booster.
Currently there is no "out of pocket" expense, however your insurance will be billed for the administration of the vaccine only.
