In response to COVID 19 pandemic, Skagit Pediatrics has made several changes to protect our community and provide essential acute care and primary care in a safe manner.
Currently, we are seeing all patients for well child care visits and encouraging families to keep up with their children's scheduled immunizations.
We have made changes in how we schedule and see patients in our clinic as well as offering virtual visits through Tele-medicine.
To keep our clinic a safe space to see our patients, we are making the following changes:

We have physically divided our clinic into a “sick side” for those with symptoms of COVID 19, including cough and fever and a “well side” for those without those symptoms.

We continue to do meticulous cleaning of rooms and clinic spaces between patient visits.

We are requiring all patients and accompanying adults to wear a mask and practice careful hand hygiene while in the clinic.

We have installed air purifiers to each of the exam rooms and have updated the air purification system for the entire building.

We are screening all patients for symptoms before entry into the clinic and having all families wait in their car until their exam room is ready for them.

We are asking all families to limit who accompanies a child to their visit to just one adult.
We are currently offering testing for COVID-19 .
We are excited to offer Telemedicine for Virtual Visits
We have found this to be a great option for many types of visits. Most often we can provide needed care and, in those cases where in-person care is needed, use of the tele-medicine visit can limit the length of time needed in the clinic. We ask for your patience with the inconveniences these changes create. We encourage our families to continue maintaining social distance and always wear a mask when in public.
